A Mentor

The glory of the young is their strength; the grey hair of experience is the splendor of the old.
Proverbs 20:29

Our children need mentors.  During these tender years of growing, they need inspiration.  They need a bar or code demonstrated to them that they can aspire too.  They need to see the many ways faith is lived out among God's people.  Mentorship is a nurturing process.   They guide individuals to excel and grow.  People who mentor are often more productive, better socialized, and less stressed themselves.  This is definately a win-win relationship.  The youthful zeal is sure to inspire the old and the experience of the old is sure to counsel the young.  Do you have your children paired up?  How about you?  Have you sought the counsel of a trusted older person?  God blesses and rewards the faithful and obedient.
